Two Gazan families need your help to escape Gaza
While Facebook slowly verifies my identity by mailing me in 3–7 days, here is a blog post about the GoFundMes we have set up this week to try to help Gazan families escape the war zone (starvation / bombardment).
Web developer Rola Zaqout is my Gaza Sky Geeks Mentee from 2014 in Gaza City, we got hang out in person she attended a startup bootcamp and her family hosted dinner in their beautiful Gaza refugee camp rooftop garden.
Today they are displaced along with over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza, and seeking to escape Gaza war zone hell.
Please donate if you can to Rola Zaqout: https://gofund.me/d4724175
Web developer Mohammed Bolbol and his family (Sara and Rayan are 10, and baby Majd was born February 22, 2024). He was participating inGaza Sky Geeks in 2014, then as a videographer, and is also a web developer.
Today they are displaced along with over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza, and seeking to escape Gaza war zone hell.

Food costs 5–10x what it used to, and there are constant bombings and shootings happening in Gaza from Israeli forces.
Their lives have been shattered and need to be rebuild outside of Gaza. Please help if you can!
I encourage you to read this blog post and look at my Flickr album from visiting Gaza in 2014.
Gaza is a region of 2 million civilians (mostly women and children) who have always needed tremendous amounts of humanitarian assistance, not bombs.
